VIAHA Overage Exemption Form

This form is a required document for all minor hockey players applying for a Special Recreational ‘C’ Overage Exemption where special permission may be granted for “recreational” teams to register “recreational” caliber player(s) of the next age division up in cases where, because of small size or weak ability a player would be unable to compete in his or her normal age division. If granted, the exemption will be permitted for one (1) year only.

VIAHA Underage Exemption Form

This form is a required document for all minor hockey players applying under Regulation #5 “Underage Exemptions”. Underage players may be only one year out of age category. If granted, the exemption will apply for one (1) year only.

TriPort Player Affiliation Form

Player Affiliation Rules: As per HC Reg.E35. a: A player of a team of a lower Division or category may affiliate to a team of higher Divisions and categories to a maximum of ten (10) games. However, if the player’s registered team completes its regular season and playoff before the player’s affiliated team, the player may thereafter affiliate an unlimited number of times. An affiliate player who does participate in more than ten (10) games will be deemed to be an ineligible player. Exhibition and Tournament games are excluded from the 10-game maximum. As per HC Reg. B.42 & E.36(b): In the case of an alternate/affiliate goaltender, actual participation in the net shall be considered as taking part in the game and such participation shall be specially noted on the official game report. The final date for player affiliation is January 15th.

BC Hockey Rec Tournament Team Request Form

Must be completed and returned to the TriPort Administrator no later than 21 days prior to the Tournament. Written approval from the hosting tournament must also be included.

BC Hockey Recreational Player Replacement/Relief Form

Minor Hockey Associations may apply for player relief/replacement for a recreational team that finds itself without sufficient players (12 or fewer skaters or no goaltender) to attend a recreation tournament for a maximum of three (3) tournaments per season up to a maximum of 15 players (including Goaltenders).

VIAHA Female Dual Roster

This form is a required document for all minor hockey Female players wishing to roster on both an integrated Recreation Team and a Female Recreation Team. This form must be received by VIAHA and approved, prior to the player being placed on a second roster. If consent is granted, it is valid for one (1) year only.

Special Event Sanction Form & Information - Off ice activities

Special Event Sanctions are for usage of events such as dryland training, fundraisers, and other activities outside of regular hockey programming. Not all activities are eligible for coverage.
