URGENT!!! WE NEED COACHES!!!

To date we have only had applications for 5 out of our 17 teams. Without coaches, the north island hockey players have no upcoming season.

Head coaches are asked to please complete the Coach Application found on our website (link attached) and send it to both triportmha@gmail.com and triportheadcoach@gmail.com while we are transitioning to our new Head Coach/Player development, Glenn Moore.

Assistant coaches, you are not required to complete the Coach application, but are asked to forward your interest in assistant coaching to the above email addresses. Currently we are just in the process of compiling names for assistant coaches for the upcoming season, and these will be passed on to the program coordinator to make coaching staff decisions closer to the start of the season.

Please note: In keeping with a fair player evaluation process during Competitive Team Tryouts, No “parent” assistant coaches will be chosen for any competitive teams until after evaluations/Tryouts are complete and teams are chosen. Whenever possible, Head coaches should try to have “non parent” coaches on the ice during the evaluation/tryout process.

With a full executive, we can avoid burning out people with already busy lives while offering a continually growing and strengthening hockey program.
