New or Transferring Players

Welcome to TriPort Minor Hockey Association

GENERAL INFORMATION

TriPort Minor Hockey Association (TPMHA) consists of 3 programs:

  • Recreation Program (Port McNeill Minor Hockey & Port Hardy Minor Hockey)
  • Competitive Program (North Island Eagles)
  • TriPort Wild (Female Program.)

Players residing within the specified boundaries of the TPMHA, must first play for the program designated by their usual residential address (i.e.: Port Hardy or Port McNeill communities). The main exceptions to this are the Competitive Program and the Female Program as these players play in all three communities.

NEW OR TRANSFERRING PLAYER REGISTRATION

Registration will be accepted beginning early June each year.

All players registering by July 15 will receive an early bird registration fee of $50.00.  Any players registering after September 15 will be subject to a mandatory $50.00 late fee. (This does not apply to the North Island Eagles)  .

If you are transferring your player from another Minor Hockey Association, the following must be completed and emailed to the TriPort Administrator @ triportmha@gmail.com.

(North Island Eagles are excluded from this).

*Please note that due to maximum roster requirements, some divisions will fill up quickly and your player could end up on a wait list.  You will be notified if that happens.  If there are enough on a wait list to exceed the minimum roster requirement in any given division, we are open to forming additional teams.

At the start of each season, TriPort Minor Hockey Association offers a Hockey Swap at the Chilton Arena in Port McNeill, where new and returning players can come and swap or purchase gear.  This is an excellent and affordable way to gear your new player up while they try hockey out. Watch the TriPort Minor Hockey Facebook pages for dates.
